Gary Lee Clifton [1951 - 2020]

Garry Lee Clifton, 69, passed away at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, surrounded by his family.

He was born March 17, 1951 to Bobby Ray, Sr. and Nancy Ann Harris Clifton in Cincinnati, Ohio. He married Barbara Pugh on Oct. 12, 2002 in Commerce.

Garry graduated from Bryan Adams High School in Dallas. He worked at Yellow Freight, first as a truck driver, then in the distribution center.
Garry enjoyed hunting, spending time with his sons, farming, ranching, driving a tractor, especially when his grandchildren could ride the tractor with him, and traveling.

Garry is survived by his wife, Barbara, siblings: Bobby Ray Clifton II and wife Sandra, Charlotte Sime and husband John, Victoria Straughan and husband John, Sister-in-law Teresa Clifton, and brother-in-law Randy McCullough. He is also survived by his children: John and wife Tabitha Clifton, Joseph and wife Jamey Clifton, Stephanie and husband John Loren, Peggy and husband Wesley Smith, Jacob and wife Lisa Smith. His grandchildren are Tori Clifton, Brady Clifton, Hailey Kizer, Reily Clifton, Aubrey Clifton, John Loren, Bradley Loren, Keelin Smith, Kaylee Smith, Westin Smith, Kevin Smith, Lee Foster, Kegan Malone, Karlie McPherson, and Kolten McPherson, and great-granddaughter Lillian Kizer, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Garry was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Nancy, siblings Margaret McCullough and Larry Clifton, son Clint Clifton, and great-granddaughter Brynlee Ray Clifton.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020 at Owens Funeral Chapel in Wolfe City. The graveside service will be conducted by Pastor Terry Holley at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.

Evelyn Marie Smith [1933 - 2020]

Evelyn Marie Smith, 87, passed away at Greenville Health and Rehabilitation in Greenville on Friday, Dec. 11.
She was born to John O and Marie Amanda Peters McNeil on Nov. 11, 1933.
Evelyn attended Wolfe City High School before marrying Lynn D Smith in Wolfe City. She raised one daughter, Vonda. Evelyn worked for E-Systems, as an aide in hospitals and nursing homes and volunteered as her church secretary at Durham Baptist Church.
There will be a memorial graveside service conducted by Larry Morris at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
In the event of inclement weather, please contact the funeral home at 903-496-2331 in case we make alternate arrangements.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Vonda M. Graham, seven nephews and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Lynn.
The family requested that donations be made to the Wolfe City Volunteer Fire Department.

Carolyn Louise Sutherland [1958 - 2020]

Carolyn Louise Sutherland, age 62, passed away at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Texas.  She was born to Richard Carl and Kathryn Porter Shafer in Glendale, California.
She married Tommy Sutherland, December 13, 2005 in Gober, Texas at Gober Baptist Church.  She loved to cook, eat out with her family, go fishing with her husband, checking feeders and game cameras, check on the cows, especially the calves and spending time or talking with her grandchildren.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Tommy, children Jeffrey Wesner, Terry Sutherland, Trista Sutherland and grandchildren: Liddia, Mattie, Sebastian, Alexander, Caleb, Brianna, Tristan, and Lucas.  She is also survived by her mother Kathryn Marks, and her siblings: Richard Shafer, Georgeanna Wilson and Steve Shafer.  She was preceded in death by her father.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.

Molly Caldwell Jobe [1940 - 2020]

Molly Caldwell Jobe, age 80, of Wolfe City passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 in Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Rockwall.  She was born May 23, 1940 to Tom Ray and Dora Smithey Caldwell.  She married Jimmy Wayne Jobe February 23, 1957 in Ladonia.  She was married to Jimmy for 63 years.  Little children were the love of her life.
Molly is survived by her husband of Wolfe City, one son, James and wife Dana Jobe of Royce City, one granddaughter, Amanda Nelson and husband Jeremy and one great-granddaughter, Piper of The Colony.  She is also survived by one sister, Maylene Eldridge of Wolfe City, two brothers, Tommy Ray Caldwell and Roy Caldwell, both of Wolfe City, and several nieces and nephews.
Kenneth Jobe, Johnny Jobe, Devin Jobe, Jeremy Nelson, Donald Caldwell, and Josh Caldwell will be honorary pallbearers.
There will be a graveside service at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
