Anita Painter Bryant [1971 - 2021]

Anita Painter Bryant, age 50, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi.  She was born June 18, 1971 in Wolfe City to Fred and Lula Dillon Painter.

Anita grew up in Wolfe City and graduated from Wolfe City High School.  She was a homemaker who worked full time as a mom to her three sons.

Anita was a faithful Christian, who is survived by her husband Scott Bryant, 3 sons: Taylor Tidwell, Lane Tidwell and Karver Bryant.  She is also survived by her brother Alan Painter, nephew Jeremy Painter and niece Cherie Talamantes and husband Jorge.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Visitation will be 12:30 P.M., Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Owens Funeral Chapel in Wolfe City.  A graveside service, conducted by Pastor Brenda Williams, will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery at 2:00 P.M.

Robert (Bob) A Bruckner [1936 - 2021]

Robert (Bob) Bruckner, 84, passed away November 9, 2021 at the Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield.  There will be a graveside service on Saturday, November 13, at 3:00 P.M. at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City. Burial will follow.
Bob was born November 12, 1936 to Herman C. and Margaret Cuneo Bruckner.  He married Mary Morgan on December 16, 1966 in Lubbock and together they raised one daughter, Rebecca. He graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. He was a Sunday school teacher and a Red Cross volunteer.  He was a member of the Texas Gun Collectors Association and the National Shaving Mug Collector Association. He was a bottle collector, did antiquing and enjoyed spending time with his grandson.  He also enjoyed family game nights with his family.
Bob is survived by his wife, daughter, Rebecca Rakestraw and husband Bryan, grandson, Michael Rakestraw, Brother, Jim Bruckner and Brother-in-law Jim Morgan.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Howard Bruckner.

Shirley "Nanny" Jean Rich [1951 - 2021]

Funeral services for Shirley Jean “Nanny” Rich, 70, of Bonham, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Josh Lott and Sebastian Murden will officiate. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, Texas.  Shirley passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
Shirley was born April 8, 1951 in Greenville, Texas, the daughter of Ray Barnett and Billie Lou Morgan Barnett.  She attended Wolfe City High School.  Shirley worked for Lehde’s Grocery Store and also for Sikes Grocery Store.  She owned and operated an independent childcare business in Bonham for 26 years.  To her it wasn’t a ‘business’; it was a calling.  She loved each of her ‘babies’ that she cared for as her own and remained “Nanny” to them even after they grew up and no longer needed her care.  Shirley was often seen at sporting events, school functions and plays, encouraging and supporting her babies.  She enjoyed shopping and being outdoors.  She loved her family and spending time with them was her greatest joy.  Shirley was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bonham.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Cheryl Partridge of Bonham, TX; granddaughter, Candace Hunnicutt and her husband, Stryker of Bonham; great grandson, Wyatt Hunnicutt; brother, Mike Barnett of Kingston, OK; nephews, Adam Barnett and his wife, Cheryl and their children, Brenden and Daven and Joe Barnett and his wife, Misty; special friends, Pat Ottmo, Cheyenne Orr and Pam Brannum; extended family and friends and all of her “Babies” that she cared for over the years.
Pallbearers will be Stryker Hunnicutt,  Sebastian Murden, Tristan Partridge Brenden Barnett and Shane Stone.  Honorary Pallbearer will be Wyatt Hunnicutt.
The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Friday night, Nov. 5, 2021.  Online guest register www.wisefuneralhome.com
