Jerry Pack [1941 - 2021]

Jerry Pack, 80, of Wolfe City passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Legend Health Care and Rehab in Greenville.  His funeral service will be conducted by Bro Tim Hearn Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Owens Funeral Chapel.  Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Jerry was born January 12, 1941 in Wolfe City to Floyd and Mona Pack.  He graduated from Wolfe City High School.  Jerry married Nelda Martin on April 6, 1962 in Wolfe City and for 59 years they had a very happy life together.

He worked for E-Systems in Greenville in the printing and blueprints department.  He also owned and operated Pack Mobil Station in Wolfe City for many years.  You could always depend on him to do whatever he could to help people.  He was a volunteer firefighter in Wolfe City from November 9, 1970 until he retired on April 12, 2003, President of the Wolfe City Chamber of Commerce from 1995 to 1996 and won first place in the Christmas decorating contest for several years.

He  is survived by his loving wife, Nelda; cousin, Marvin and Christine Pack and nephew David  and wife Gail Massey; brother-in-law, Robert and Rosemary Martin, nephews Steve Martin and Jeff Martin;  Larry  and Linda Martin and their children,  Dave Martin, Glen Martin and Christipher Martin;  Ed and Kathy Martin and their children James (Bubba)  and Melissa Martin, Mindy Martin, April Martin and Tyler Martin; Donna and Roddy Woodard and their children Kristie Hall, Jared Woodard and Chessa Woodard, extended, adopted family, Allen and Jill Malone, Kevin Sorrow, James Horan, and Billy Gene Hayes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother James Ray Pack and sister Billie Ruth Pack Miller.

Charles Delbert Hornsby [1943 - 2021]

Charles Delbert Hornsby of Wolfe City, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Fathers Day, June 20,2021, surrounded by his children and loved ones. Charles was born on September 13, 1943 to John Delbert and Imonell Hallum Hornsby in Wolfe City, Texas, where he was raised throughout high school. He spent his working years as a mechanical engineering technician for Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas, where he retired in 1994. Charles was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed many things in life;  his farm and animals, playing dominoes, and “shooting the breeze” with his friends.
However, what he loved most was being a dad and Poppy.
Charles is survived by his three children: Charla Brosius and husband Tom of Lubbock, Jeff Hornsby and wife Melinda of Mineola, and Lance Hornsby and wife Penny of Richmond. He is also survived by grandchildren; Justin Brosius and fiancé Kourtney Welch, Claire Fleming and Josie Hornsby, and Josh and Cody Amaris. He is also survived by his great granddaughter, Aubree Brosius.  Charles had one sister, Aline Speight, who cared for him during the last few years of his life. He is survived by his faithful and loyal companion and advocate, Martha Shaw, who was his best buddy.  Charles is survived by his nieces Cherly Erwin and Chanda and Phil Tanner.  Charles is also survived by several special cousins, one Paternal aunt and numerous nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by both of his parents, one grandson; Jordan Brosius, numerous aunts and an uncle, and one niece; Charon Malone.
Services will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 11am at First Baptist Church in Wolfe City, Texas with Pastor Tim Hearn officiating.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Whitney Brummet at Oak Manor Nursing Home in Commerce for the exceptional care that she provided for Charles.

Tracy Latrece Owens [1970 - 2021]

Tracy Latrece Owens, 51, of Paris, TX, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Friday, June 18, 2021, at her home. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 21st at Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Following cremation, inurnment will be made in Mount Carmel Cemetery at Wolfe City. She was born March 25, 1970, in Paris, TX. Tracy loved fish fries and cookouts with family and friends, going to the lake, riding with family and friends on Side By Sides, swimming, and nature walks. She was a member of the Paris Elks Lodge for five years, enjoying the lake life. Tracy wore the biggest, brightest smile that lifted everyone she came into contact with. Survivors include her husband, James Owens, son, Josh Owens, daughter, Kalee Owens, aunt, Becky Mackie & husband Pepper, niece, Jayla Bowman and many more cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim & Kay Bowman, brother, Terry Bowman, both grandparents, uncles, Benny “June” Bowman, and Jimmy Norris.

Richard Albert Stanley [1965 - 2021]

Richard Albert Stanley of Wolfe City, Texas passed away May 15, 2021.  Richard was born October 15,1965 in Dallas, Texas to Calvin and Dee Stanley.
Richard is survived by his immediate family: his father Calvin Stanley of Wolfe City; his sister Paula Waldrep and husband Steve of Dallas; his niece Stefanie Herrington, husband Challen and their son Matthew of Allen; his nephew Terry Moore and wife Summer of Lubbock.  He is also survived by his friend Melody Barber, her children and grandchildren Rylan, Elayna and Emberleigh.  Richard is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother Dee Stanley.
Richard graduated from H. Grady Spruce in 1984 in Dallas, Texas.  He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and was generous to all those he loved.
Graveside services will be held at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, Texas on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
